Ashley Celaya Willingham is on her fourth season dancing professionally with award winning company, CORE Contemporary Dance based out of Sacramento, CA. Since dancing with CORE, she has had the opportunity to travel and compete in international festivals including The White Wave Festival in Brooklyn, NY, Jazz Dance World Congress in Pittsburgh, PA, and Palm Desert International Choreographers Festival in Palm Desert, CA. Before moving to Sacramento in 2010, she graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Dance and was chosen to represent LMU at American College Dance Festival. While living in Los Angeles she had the opportunity to work with various choreographers including Justin Giles, Sonya Tayeh, Mike Esperanza and Kate Hutter. Since then, Ashley has furthered her dance career by teaching and choreographing numerous master classes, as well as full time positions teaching ballet, pointe and jazz at studios in Sacramento.
